Samyama Yoga Centre was envisaged as a SPECIAL place that has the ability to make one unwind, to nourish, alleviate all spiritual and mental (‘Duhkha’) blockages, leading to transformation in many senses.

You will not be disappointed. As the coach stops outside the gates, and one enters through tall majestic doors into a marble foyer with curved mahogany staircase and the afternoon sun streaming through the magnificent leaded dome, you will feel relief, and all tension melting away.

Samyama Yoga Retreat Centre is situated on the beach in a garden setting. The centre sleeps 18 and all bedrooms are en-suite fully tiled with marble vanity tops. 5 rooms are twin bedded with 4 foot beds. 3 rooms have queen size beds.

Most rooms have views of the sea. The large sitting room with marble floor (29 x 18.3 feet) and veranda over looks the sea. The practice area, 47x16 feet is besides the swimming pool. The pool itself is 50x20 feet.

Samyama offers you total seclusion and tranquillity. No hawkers on the beach, so you can go for long walks, just meditating on nature.

Our beach is not the normal flat boring type beach, but is wild and exhilarating, filling you with energy, and excitement.

There is an array of wild life, so if you are keen on nature especially birds remember to pack a pair of binoculars.

We also will have an Ayurvedic practitioner on call for treatment and massages.

All support staff is available to ensure your stay is relaxed and enjoyable. We can also arrange all tours in Sri Lanka. From Sri Lanka’s religious heritage sites, shopping excursions, to places of outstanding beauty.

If more accommodation is needed we can also supply a bungalow sleeping 6, within just 5 minutes further on the beach.

TIME SHARE: 2 WEEKS PER YEAR OVER 5 YEARS (can be renewed)

SAMYAMA TIME SHARE is different from other time share in that it is similar to renting but cheaper. It gives the yoga teacher certainty that the time he/she wants to have her/his retreat is always available. To be part of this beautiful and luxurious development is an opportunity not to be missed.
